The Redemptorist Community in Dundalk has received the go-ahead for solar panels at St Joseph’s Monastery, a Protected Structure, at St Alphonsus Road.
Louth County Council granted permission for proposed installation of automatic and self-clean solar photovoltaic (PV) panels to the flat roof of the existing external single storey standalone pergola (46.8m (L) x 6.2m (W) x 2.6m (H), located in the south lawn area of the monastery to facilitate the future long-term use of the complex by the Redemptorist Community.
